Visitors up at The London Bridal Show
The first international buying event of the year has come to a close, and the 2017 event saw an increase in visitor numbers from the UK and further afield
Retailers flooded to London Olympia in buying mode, and this year’s increase is a great boost for the bridal market. The event showcased the best collections from some of the biggest names in the business, as well as new designs from up and coming design houses. The show also featured hugely popular, business-building seminars and workshops.
The 2017 edition saw a truly positive response from buyers.
“It was excellent, well-organised and lots of suppliers were represented,” said the team at Camellia Bridal. “We also found the Business Advice Clinics very useful and a great addition to the show.”
Similarly, Beas Bridal Studio said: “The seminars were all very useful to consider aspects of our business that we haven’t thought of and to pick up tips from experienced people.”
Songbird Bridal ‘enjoyed the show this year much more than ever before’ and the team at Chantilly Lace said they ‘love The London Bridal Show and attend every year’.
Even the exhibitors found some inspiration at the show. Both Tiffany Rose and Mark Lesley found the seminars, in particular Warren Knight’s social media presentation, ‘awesome’ and ‘inspiring’.
We’ll be looking back at the show, and covering anything you missed, in the next issue of Bridal Buyer.
