The Goddess Collection
Elika In Love has unveiled a capsule collection for the fashion-forward bride. Introducing The Goddess Collection - three dramatic gowns combining bohemian romance and high-fashion silhouettes for the sophisticated woman
Founded in Paris in 2014 and now based in Vancouver, Elika In Love is a bespoke bridal line produced by hand in its Canadian atelier. Creating luxurious and unique wedding gowns for the fashion-conscious bride, the brand focuses on quality fabrics, stunning details and gorgeous silhouettes.
Designer Hrissa Soumpassis, originally from Saskatchewan, studied Fashion in Vancouver and has worked in New York, Copenhagen, and Paris - and the label is named after the coastal village of Elika, the designer’s ancestral home in southern Greece.
The three gowns in the new collection are unique and feminine with gorgeous detailing.
Form-fitting and effortless, the Santorini gown is made from luxurious ivory stretch lace in a bold oversized pattern. Featuring a high neck, cascading train, fitted long sleeves, and a sheath silhouette, Santorini hits many of 2017’s top bridal trends and is both modest and sexy at the same time.
The intoxicatingly feminine Elle gown is cut in stunning mocha lace with a chapel train and butterfly sleeves. Elle embodies grace and sophistication, featuring sensual details with subtle hints of skin.
Hand-torn silk squares make up the couture-inspired Dimitra mini dress. This show-stopper features a low back, strapless neckline, and a chic “something blue” ribbon around the waist.
All Elika in Love gowns are bespoke and made-to-order. Gowns are available to purchase via the online shop and will be in select retailers in Autumn 2017.
