Occasionwear dressing with a chic, sharp twist

The season ahead looks pretty good for MOBs as the design duo at Sarah Danielle turn in their best collection yet

Londoner Tony Mentel and New Yorker Jose Dias have invested the same carefully thinking and design flair in Sincerity’s stylish occasionwear label as they do in the market leading Justin Alexander bridal brand. The new Sarah Danielle range, which will go on show at Harrogate in March, is all about elegant line, subtle colourings, and understated detail and shows what can be beautifully achieved when a designer – or in this case the design team – understand that a woman wants to look stunning and exude confidence on her daughter’s big day, rather than compete with the bridesmaids in an outfit that is too bright, too young, too demanding. There are wonderful top layers here – perfectly tailored jackets, body skimming coats to wear over elegant shift dresses that just touch the knee – and lots of soft taupes, rich black and deep amythest. Make a date now to see the collection at BBEH, in the main halls, on stand M35.
