Shiny shoes? This is the season for all things sparkly

Harriet Wilde has designed some absolutely dazzling bridal shoes with glitter-encrusted uppers that take metallics to a whole new level. This is all about show stopping, foot tapping, fabulously OTT looks… just what every girl wants

Take fashion-must rounded toes, reach-for-the-sky heights with platforms, sprinkle with shimmer shine and you have the recipe for party shoe success. Stylish maker Harriet Wilde has introduced three glistening new models that are strictly for the fashion brave. Stepping forward is Tallulah, gold is encrusted in chunky size glitter, with mirror-gold leather binding, T-bar, and a towering 12cm heel height. Putting the WOW into wow factor is Dorothy, because every girl should own her very own ruby red slippers. These have a fine coating of bright red glitter, a gorgeous vintage bow trim, made from metallic red leather and satin and a straight block 10cm high heel. Also new is Margo, sling-backed, ankle-strapped with dance-the-night-away appeal.

All Harriet Wilde shoes carry a message embossed on the leather sole, ‘Designed in London, lovingly made by skilled shoe makers in Spain’. The vintage-style collection is not mass-produced which adds hugely to its appeal.
