A capital event
The London Bridal Show is a new intimate mid-season show where some of the premier manufacturers will be showcasing their 2013 Spring/Summer collections. Show will take place 20-21 May, at the Lancaster Hotel
Here’s what some of the exhibitors have to say about this exciting new event:
“Planning a show presence in London is a first for Benjamin Roberts and we’ve got to make it count! We have the debut launch of the new designer collection which is my latest baby and she’s growing up fast! Bringing the whole Benjamin Roberts’ showcase to London is special because it’s the time of year we need to be seen– everyone on the continent starts in May so we can’t miss out, can we? Maybe we shall see more of our Southern stores because it’s London – that’ll be fun! Quite a few European, Irish and Middle Eastern customers are coming too, so it should be lively.”

“We are thrilled to show our Spring 2013 collections in May at The London Bridal Show. London presents an opportunity for not only the UK’s top bridal shops to catch the premiere of our collections, but it is also such an accessible city for international stores. London’s fashion, ease of access and attractions make it a can’t-miss experience for bridal buyers.”

“Extensive preparation to launch the new Mark Lesley Bride, Mark Lesley Couture Bride, Mark Lesley Paradise Bride, Mark Lesley Bridesmaids and the new Donna Salado Couture collections ahead of our normal schedule have been under way since the end of 2011. At the London Bridal Show our customers will have the opportunity to buy the new collections that would not normally be launched until BBEH September. We have added many new touches, designing our own laces and appliqués, intricate beadwork and introducing fabric manipulation.
“London Bridal Show will also be the official launch of our new and fabulous Mother of the Bride collection, a 20-piece range of beautiful dresses and jackets, in satins, taffeta and prints retailing at around £250-£395.”
Mark Monk, Mark Lesley
“Since launching Daisy Day Bridesmaids we are constantly talking to brides, listening to shops and developing our unbranded collection to offer even more diversity to the collection. It seems that more and more bridesmaids are having to pay for their own dress so we have introduced younger fashionable styles that can be worn after the event. Our collection of over 50 different styles now offers complete diversity with skirt lengths from mini to floor, in chiffon, taffeta and satin and over 100 beautiful colours.
“We have all the best shapes right now and have taken the decision not to launch massive new collections each year. Instead we will keep adding in additional pieces as and when we feel we have got a new idea. Great product with maximum markup and therefore great profitability, is our immediate focus. The London Bridal Show is where to see the collection first.”
Louise Day, Daisy Day
